Spring and all its flowers
now joyously break their vow of silence.
It is time for celebration, not for lying low;
You too - weed out those roots of sadness from your heart.

Beautiful :-)
Wow...That is just an incredible combination of textures and elements. So softly feminine, and intricate. Beautiful! Iflorist.co.uk
what flower is that? really nice photo.
Looks like it eats insects! But it has terrific colours. I wonder what it smells like.
they are called sal flowers, aka shorea robusta, from the cannonball tree and smell really wonderful. i saw them all over the place when we went to siem reap. i don't remember the exact story told by our guide, but those flowers hold significance in Buddhism.
Interesting. Thanks Angeli.
i can't remember seeing a flower like this before
