What happened last weekend was truly horrifying; but what horrifies me more is the proliferation of self-righteous status updates, posts and tweets on the Internet. This is not really a good time for finger-pointing and moralizing, is it? Nobody deserved what happened, but, sadly, all of us are at fault.

how could any of us be at fault? i am not taking any blame. it is all the work of a vengeful god.
but the merciful one let others survive.
Hi Angeli,

A bit in the dark here me.

hope you were Ok, where were you during the storm?
It was barely felt in baguio and i don't watch tv so i was oblivious of the event until i learned about it in FB!
haaay.. hope everything will go back to normal soon, and sunny days and renewal...
hi artemis.
i also wasn't aware of the extent of the typhoon. akala ko simpleng bagyo lang. i was cooped up in my unit watching The Beach online when people on FB started posting their horror stories. then i turned on the tv to catch the noontime news. that's when i knew how everything was.
we are lucky the mandaluyong area is not that affected as compared to its neighboring cities.
