Looking at it, I don’t see pages and chapters combined to form a cohesive whole called my thesis. What I see are years of frustration over a daunting task, days spent worrying if it will ever get done, countless nights spent in obsessive writing and rewriting, and intermittent periods spent doing nothing but wallowing in panglossian complacency – all bound together.

Congrats Jill!!! :) Im sure it's excellent work!
To indulge in Panglossian gushing about how great you are, and not acknowledge that you exist to be loved with out expectations is offensive. Pangloss says the nose was created for the purpose of spectacles. I say the nose and ears were created for the purpose of eyeglasses so I can admire the love of my life. ;)
But Leibniz is also right - you made it possible, to someone who loves you so much, to have the "best of all possible worlds" against all odds.
thanks jen.. sa wakas, natapos din!
I now have the "best of all possible worlds" because the love of my life is now in it.
