How invigorating it feels to be in the presence of two of my oldest friends, Carla and Hazel. We hardly ever see each other anymore that those few hours spent with them became so special we almost did not want the night to end. That night I was able to escape, though momentarily, my life of monotony and needless anxiety. Their presence reminded me of who I was and who I have always wanted to become.

I'm about to catch up on lost times with a good friend this weekend. Real friendship survives the test of time. =)
It really, really does. Like 20-30 years from now, my friends and I can see ourselves eating the usual pasta favorites and laughing about the same old stuff. :) I'm sure it's the same with you and your old friends, too..
as they say you can choose friends but not siblings. is that good or bad? :)
what a group of good looking women!
just good looking? not gorgeous? LOL
Anxiety seems to be the normal human condition worldwide. You Angeli appear to be finding a route to a grounding that pins it right back down.
it's nice to catch up...i need to do that soon...lol.
it's good that you were able to find time catching up with your friends :) it's really a nice feeling being with those people who are close to your heart ;) especially the old friends!
i met with two of my 5 girlfriends too last Saturday night. though not feeling well because of a mild attack of migraine, i still went and spent time with them, munching on okoy and chicken siomai, and never-endingly massaging my head. the night ended at 12MN. :)
even at times of physical pain, i can't resist the invitation. :) nice to be around real good friends, 'di ba?
