an illusion

Friday, March 14, 2008

It is an illusion that youth is happy, an illusion of those who have lost it; but the young know they are wretched, for they are full of the truthless ideals which have been instilled into them, and each time they come in contact with the real they are bruised and wounded.

-W. Somerset Maugham, Of Human Bondage

I was at a store lately and I was amused to find a product called body fat analyzer.

I am not that old but I swear it used to be called mirror. :)

Rubenesque is so artsy, how about voluptuous.

Or say it as it is "tub of lard". :)

Or "palanggana of baguio oil" in pinas. hahahah

"Tub of lard" and "Palanggana of Baguio Oil" are derogatory terms. How about "Realistically-Sized"? :)
