Turning Thirty

Monday, January 14, 2008

I am turning thirty in eight days. So how does it feel to be turning thirty? Is it any different? Aside from becoming more shrewish, losing the excess fat I have had for most of my life, having fine lines under my eyes, getting more tired easily, having less tolerance for bullshit, and being loved without expectations, it actually feels the same.

They say life begins at 40 but never tell you when it ends. Long way to go before life begins, huh?

Laugh lines make you more attractive. Losing excess weight means less gravitational pull. :)

Welcome to the fourth decade of your life!!!

they say 50 is the new 40! :) so now it'll take another 20 years for my life to finally begin. :)

They say 30ish is actually the age where a woman is most beautiful... I think what makes 30 so nice is its strike of balance... the joyful expectation of wonderful things yet to come and the silent wisdom of spending life fearlessly in our younger years...Well, my friend, wishing you the BEST! Let's live life as fiercely as we can!!!

definitely much more beautiful- and sexier- and smarter- and everything else that comes with that (like a baby, for me at least =P LOL)life is so much more exciting now and richer and not so superficial after the many and diverse pains and joys we've been through the years....

by the way, i'll be turning 30 next month =)
